Tirana: The Road Begins

The beginning of sustained international travel. Everything felt unfamiliar, and I still thought I had to photograph everything.

Tirana was the first place that felt completely new. The food, streets, language, and ordinary details all felt unfamiliar in the best possible way.

I did not yet know how to live as a perpetual traveler, so I behaved like a tourist and felt obligated to photograph everything. This was where the road truly began.
