Chico Norte: Too Comfortable to Document
A comfortable home, a work routine, and a lesson in documenting life.
A three-story penthouse, a third-floor office, and the kind of comfort that made weeks disappear.
I rented a three-story penthouse during the quieter COVID period. The third floor was an office, and the place was so comfortable that I mostly stayed home and worked.
At the time, I told myself I was going to hunker down and relax. I became lazy about exploring and barely took photographs. Looking back, I consider that a mistake.
That is also part of living abroad: sometimes a place becomes pizza in front of the television, chess by the fireplace, a work routine, and weeks that disappear faster than expected.
